National Geographic has two new shows coming your way that will show you how you can make money with what you already have. Introducing, Flea Man and the Turnaround King.

tvIt all begins on June 17 with Flea Man. This six-part series follows flea market expert Jimmy Kaplow as he shows ordinary people how to turn trash into cash. In the first episode, which airs at 8:00 p.m., Jimmy goes head-to-head with a collector who is addicted to estate sales. Then he helps afamily sell a house full of inherited antiques in order to put their daughter through medical school.

In the second episode, Jimmy comes across a Bible that was owned by an aide to George Washington and then teaches two newbies how to properly haggle at a flea market.

Then, on Sunday, June 19, National Geographic pulls the wraps off Turnaround King. This one follows Grant Cardone, a sales trainer and motivational speaker, as he teaches folks how to turn their struggling businesses around.

Grant begins by going into the business undercover so he can learn about their problems first hand, then like a corporate Gordon Ramsay, he makes a plan and works with the owners to see it through.

In the première episode, he helps pump up a failing Gold’s Gym franchise which is going under, thanks to poor management. You’d think these owners would want the help, but it’s not easy convincing these body builders to see things Cardone’s way.

In the second episode, Cardone takes on a family car dealership that goes back three generations. Now, poor customer service and a bored sales team is driving this business into the ground. Can a dose of social media help revitalize the biz? Tune in to Turnaround King and find out.

It all begins on Friday, June 17 on National Geographic.
